Year 1 recently had a mystery visitor come and eat some cakes they had been looking forward to eating! In one of the cakes a bite mark showed they must have sharp teeth. They thought it might have been the wolf from the story Little Red Riding Hood. Little Red Riding Hood met a wolf in the woods so they visited Heaton Park and walked through the woods there. They looked for wolf prints in the woods, had a picnic just like Little Red Riding Hood, looked at the animals in the farm to see if they had sharp teeth. They asked the question, “Do they have sharp teeth? Could they have made the bite mark in the cake?” They also took the kites that they had been making in DT to fly. It was the perfect windy day for kite flying!
