KS1 Parent Reading Workshop

Class: Year 1 Year: 2024 - 2025

On Friday 31st January, we held a KS1 Reading Parent workshop. Within the workshop, we taught parents how to support their child's early reading journey by explaining how we teach speed sounds, red words and story green words with Read Write Inc techniques such as 'Special Friends, Fred Talk, Read the word', tricky sounds and 'Fred in your Head'. Parents were able to have a go with their child during the workshop which will help them support their child's reading at home.
